Kigali - Rwanda

Glen has worked with a number of clients visiting Africa over the years but this was his first project that he'd be supporting in Kigali. His knowledge, experience, and local contacts throughout the continent, would all contribute to a safe and successful trip for the traveling business group.

Africa is a continent that Glen has worked in over the past 25-years though most of his work has been carried out in Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, as well as South Africa. With that said, the general environment and threat landscape is similar throughout much of Africa, so when Glen was asked to support a business delegation visiting Kigali in Rwanda, he had some familiarity of the region as well as an understanding of what he'd need during the visit. The trip was fast paced with lot's of moving parts but Glen was able to work closely with the designated drivers to gain familiarity of where he'd be visiting before the delegation arrived in country. The trip was a big success and Glen contributed to ensuring it flowed smoothly while handing the logistics, ground transportation, accommodation, as well as security for the visiting team, including traveling remotely as he helped plan out a safari tour for the group, handling the logistics, security, accommodation, and coordination aviation. At the end of the visit the primary client commented that it couldn't have gone better and much of that was due to Glen's key support and attention to detail.

The Hamptons, New York

Glen was asked to work directly with an Ultra High Net Worth Family to develop and manage a new protective program that would support the family needs at their residences, both domestic and international, as well as during frequent travel to the Caribbean and throughout Europe.

Glen was contacted directly by the family whose primary residence was in The Hamptons, a large estate that incorporated multiple homes on the property with beach access to their estate. Initially Glen visited the estate and met with the family to determine measures that they may want to think through having carried out an initial assessment of the area and estate. In the coming weeks and through the information that Glen shared, the dialogue exchanged, and the concerns that the family had, Glen was asked to work full time with the family which he accepted for a 3-year period. During the early part of this contract, Glen focused on developing protective strategies for the family to include their children, and also conducted thorough Risk and Vulnerability assessments for each of their properties, providing the family with in-depth reports as well as solutions that they'd want to consider. Over time, Glen conducted the hiring, management, and training of additional support personnel as well as delivering basic security and awareness training for all household staff to ensure each were participating in the overall security function of the estate and the family.

Having worked with the Ruler of Dubai during the early days of his career, Glen used that exceptional experience to build his network and reputation within the region and establishing himself as a valued resource for individuals, companies, and esteemed families. For many families in The UAE, during the summer months they will often leave for Europe or other parts of the world for around 3-months, this is where Glen excels in his support, handling logistics such as luxury transportation, security matters, whether in person or remotely, and being a reliable resource for them throughout their travel. Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, India

India is a country that Glen has worked in countless times so he has a good understanding of the complexities and challenges as well as knowing what it takes to overcome and work around them. When an Executive team were planning a multi-city visit, they relied on the support of Glen and his team to help them throughout the trip.

A Fortune 100 Company, who have been a long term client that Glen has supported around the world, would be making a visit to India with four of their Executives visiting 5 cities in only 5-days, it would prove to be faced paced and high level with many moving parts that required an expert to oversee and manage. With 3 additional security team members supporting him, Glen worked closely with both primary Executive Assistant in the US as well as the local staff members at the regional offices in the cities to be visited, to define the agenda throughout the 5-day visit. The trip would include numerous high level Government meetings including with the Prime Minister of India, so there was a lot of coordination that took place prior to the trip starting. Once the Executives arrived in the first city, Glen had arranged all accommodation, transportation, and security requirements and had designed an advance agent in each city who would have everything ready for the arriving group. There were long days and timing challenges but through the diligent work of Glen and his team, the trip was highly successful with the Executive team very happy to have had such great support to help them during their visit to India.

This was a program that was significant in contributing to the productivity and safe travel of the business leaders who all benefited from Glen's vast expertise.

With the company valued at over $200 billion, and having not had an Executive Protection program in place prior, Glen was brought in to develop and manage the travel security and global logistics coordination for the Executive Team who traveled extensively across the globe. Glen spent a significant amount of time working directly with the Office of the Chairman and Office of the CEO on international travel, arriving ahead of the Executives to setup each visit that they undertook. He would often be required to arrange the travel and security for meetings with country and government leaders, meeting with their teams on security protocols and expectations, to ensure that each visit ran smoothly. Glen handled all Executive ground transportation globally and coordinated with vendors and drivers prior to and during each trip.  He was responsible for all new hires within the team as well as the training of each team member who supported the protective program. When Glen left his position after 8-years of dedicated support, the Executive team were saddened by his departure as he pursued consulting work, however they commented that "Glen is a true expert and built a world class Executive Protection program for our company".
